My Workouts This Week | Day 8 #30DayBlogBlitz

Short and sweet post for the blog blitz today.

I’m out in Santa Monica, California, and I’ve been hanging with my sister, Jill Coleman, and my boys Jade Teta and Gary Leake.

If there is a common theme among this group it’s that they’re all fitness freaks. Lately, we’ve been doing workouts that are awesome for building muscle AND shedding fat, so I want to share this weeks workouts with you real quick.

The first part is the strength, muscle building component. These are big-body, compound movements done with heavy ass weights. The second half is a Metabolic Conditioning circuit where you hit it all out for 15-20 minutes, resting as you need to.

Workout 1

Strength Movement: Snatch 5 (sets) x 1-5 (reps)

Met Con: As many rounds as possible in 15 minutes

  • Box Jumps (5)
  • Push-ups (10)
  • Kettle Bell Swings (15)


Workout 2

Strength: Deadlift 5 (sets) x 1-5 (reps)

Met Con: Complete 5 Rounds; rest as needed

  • Pull-ups (1 minute)
  • Push-ups (1 minute)
  • Sit-ups (1 minute)
  • Body Weight Squats (1 minute)
